Insurance companies hold auctions for salvaged motorcycles, ATVs, boats, yachts, etc. after the vehicles experienced damage during accidents and other insurance claims incidents.
The primary advantage of ordering motorized vehicles at auctions run by INSURANCE COMPANIES is the fact that the motorcycles, ATVs, boats, yachts, etc are sold at lower prices than at other types of auctions, such as NPA
www.npauctions.com. This happens for the following reasons:
1) Vehicles experience various degrees of damage (the extent of the damage varies from heavy dents to light scratches or damage to the plastic)
2) The Vehicles get the Salvage Title documents: this status prevents American banks and financial institutions to provide credit for the purchase of such equipment. For this reason, most people living in the US are not willing to buy boats and motor vehicles with such documents. However, the status does not affect export and import of such vehicles into Russia and the CIS countries; there is no difference, since the registration and account statement documents are identical.
The only downside to purchasing at auctions of damaged motorcycles, ATVs, boats, etc is that they do not provide a guarantee on purchased vehicles. USA MOTOPARTS LLC also does not carry liability for the functionality of the vehicles!
If clients are interested in purchasing a specific type of motorcycle, ATV, boat, yacht, etc, we can perform a state of the art examination. We will provide a detailed report and include photographs. As long as the vehicle is in the state of Washington, clients only need to pay the cost of the inspection, which we perform ourselves. However, if the vehicle is out of state, the total price of the inspection will include the cost of ordering an inspection. In most cases, even with the cost of transportation, customs clearance, spare parts and repair - the price is relatively low!
Upon customer request, we can provide spare parts for motorcycles, ATVs, boats, yachts, etc. for reconstruction.
After verifying all the details with us, clients agree to participate in an auction. Clients then need to transfer a $500 deposit into our company bank account. However, if the vehicle's cost is over $5000, the amount of the deposit will be 10% of the price.
Example: A client has selected a yacht, etc, and decided to bid up to $15000. The deposit will be $1500.
The deposit is included in the total cost of the vehicle!
Upon receiving the deposit to our company's bank account, we participate in the auction as per the clients' order. If our clients' bid loses, they can use the deposit to participate in a different auction instead. However, if the client no longer wish to participate in auctions, we will refund the deposit amount in full, as long as there is no currency exchange. If there are any currency exchanges, the bank transaction fees will be subtracted from the deposit.
After successfully purchasing the ordered motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, boats, yachts, etc, USA MOTOPARTS LLC will send an invoice from the auction and calculations for the total cost of the order.
We request that clients transfer the final sum within 2-4 days of receiving the invoice to the bank account of our company USA МOTOPARTS LLC.
The final amount shown in the invoice includes: the cost of the motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, etc; the auction's commission; the commission of USA MOTOPARTS LLC; shipping costs within the US to the nearest port (depending on where the vehicle was purchased); and the shipping of the vehicle and the appropriate documents to our clients.
The estimated shipping cost of the vehicle is based on the destination:
Port Nakhodka (Russia) - $350-450
Port of Kotka (Finland) - $550-650
Port of Bremerhaven (Germany) - $500-600
Gdynia (Poland) - $500-600
Shipping proof of ownership and other documents to customer costs $60 via www.usps.com
If payment in full is not received after the 2-4 day period, an additional late fee of $50 will be added to the cost. 6 days after the auction takes place, an extra $25 parking fee gets charged by the auction if the vehicle had not been claimed. However, if payment is not received on the bank account of USA МOTOPARTS LLC within 7 days of the auction, the motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, boat, yacht, etc. will be reauctioned, and the deposit becomes nonrefundable. USA МOTOPARTS LLC uses this deposit to pay the fine for an incomplete auction transaction; the fine is $400 for a vehicle valued at up to $5000, or 1% of the cost of the vehicle valued at $5000 and over.
